Looks like it's well made, sturdy, I think it will last. Easy to install.

After only a couple of weeks the bracket that holds the pulley has spread apart. Now the wheel is not on the ball bearings and rubbing metal to metal.They used press rivets and only partially set it leaving a large gap. This allowed the ball bearings to seperated.Will update if this gets resolved.UPDATE (7/17/2023): They want me to return it and see if a manufactures issue. If it is, they will replace or refund. The problem is that it took over 3 weeks to get it because they are in CANADA. Then it will be 3 weeks back. We are looking at 2 months before I have something working. Poor customer service.UPDATE (8/11/2023): They reached out and they agreed to ship out the replacement before I returned the existing one. Got the new one and it works as expected. Returned the old one. Customer service ended up being very flexible with options and an option that worked for me.

Lost ways (old days) is still the best way. Having this elevator for my laundry pulley system saves me even more time and money. Saving money cause I'm cutting back on my usage of a dryer is what this is about and saving wear and tear on our clothes etc is working out great. Plus who does not like the fresh linen smell when hanging out their clothes? I take out my basket of clean laundry and put on my pulley system clothes line and the elevator allows to lift my line up off the ground much higher away from our other buildings and animals. Instructions are clear and easy to set up. We installed ours on telephone/utility poles purchased at a local hardware store. In addition, we bought better and longer hooks for the system/poles. So far no rust as promised. It is a bit pricy but in the end, it was worth it once all was said and done. No regrets.

Even though this is much more common it seems in Canada, the pricing difference should tell you that. It works well for its purpose. I actually attached mine to my 4x4 porch post with a piece of 1x3 since the 4x4 is a bit too tight to comfortably attach it without worrying about the wood possibly splitting. it moves up and down smoothly. Total height is based on how high you mount it, based on the height of the person who will be the primary user of it. It should last a number of years, for the cost it better.

The pipe is really not stiff enough. We will see how it last. Also wish that the mounting screw hole were vertical rather than horizontal. Then one would be able to hit the stud without some added rigging. It does go up and down smoothly and works as it should.

Put this up to be able to hang clothes and rugs outside instead of using the dryer and it works great. Lower it to pin the stuff on, then raise it and you can walk right under everything and not hit the clothes.
