Chop or crush a clove in about 500ml of water. Leave for minium 6 hours, drain or garlic . Then spray daily or weekly on both sides of leaves and stems. Please do not use 'bug spray ' you will kill ALL BUGS including the ones that help deal with the problem! You are also using toxic chemicals ( even if they say they are not they are) on a tree you will eat your food from! **Q: Could you tell me how long till this tree gets its first crop of pears please?** A: We bought a 2-3ft potted dwarf apple tree 2 years ago the first year it produced tiny apples that fell off,and the following year we had about 20 massive juicey delicious apples. So I would say 1 year until you have edible crop.
