For the past 40+ years, due to their absorbency, I have always had toweling bathrobes - and I’ve slipped them on as I get out of the after or shower to dry my body (by absorption) instead of using a towel. I have never been a fan of man-made fabrics, such as polyester, mainly because of their non-absorbency, but also because they often feel hot in summer and cold in winter against my skin - and because of the shocks caused by static electricity when polyester/nylon (with its negative charge) rubs against my dry skin (with its positive charge).But in recent years I’ve increasingly worn fleece garments such as jackets and pullovers without any problems (probably because they have not been directly against my dry skin), and I’ve found polyester fleece to be so cosy and comfortable to wear. I bought this lovely robe to wear as a housecoat, as opposed to a bathrobe. Apart from looking so nice in the listing, I chose this soft fluffy robe because, being full length, I’d be able to curl up in it, on the sofa with my dogs, and wrap the bottom of it around my legs and toes during chilly winter evenings. Also, I could visualise the deep shawl collar being soft and comforting around my neck. I haven’t had that luxury in a housecoat/bathrobe before.I felt spoilt for choice with seven colours to choose from, but I narrowed it down between grey and purple. Grey won! It has an elegant, sophisticated, look. I knew from experience that Chinese clothing sizes come up smaller than in the UK, and I thought this came in several sizes - but there are only two. I am a UK size 16 (my size 10 daughter modeled it for the photos) and I chose the largest size but, because it is cut straight down from the underarms, I’d have been happier with a bigger size so that it overlapped more below the knees.I like the sort of honeycomb texturing at the cuffs, on the tops of the two large square pockets, and of the collar - but I would have liked it more if the honeycomb detail had continued down the outside of the fronts as well, from the collar, instead of being on the insides. In my opinion there needed to be join at the ends of the collar so the fabric could be turned around to the outside of the front edges. But it’s how it feels, when on, that is most important. I like it all the same.

I love this Dressing gown I ordered Purple the colour is lovely its a lovely long length im about five foot 3 and it comes down to my ankles I ordered size large to xl as im 16/18 and the size is a perfect fit for me its lovely and warm I am very pleased with my purchase and yes I highly recommend this its a must have.

received this today quite surprised that it was vacuum packed so it says to wash it so it’s in the machine as i speak,I’ll up date later once it’s washed and dried in dryer to see what it’s like,well it come up lovely i was quite surprised,thanks

I disliked this product and would have sent it back if I had not been housebound. It was short and I am only 5' 2". I wanted full length as picture shows. It was cheap looking material. I was disappointed.

I got this dressing gown for my wife as a replacement for her old one and ever since she’s had it, she’s been wearing it every night.The dressing gown is so soft and warm and light, perfect for the in coming winter.

For many years I've searched for this dressing gown. Not too thick, not too thin, really soft and brilliant colour. Love it to pieces. From a picky shopper, this is the best!!

True to colour size and fit. I weare size M- uk; bought L/XL. Fits perfectly. I looove it. It came fast and very welk packed: not bulky,in a very well sized vacumed bag . The vacume bag is also perfectly shaped - not easy task when you try to vacum your own stuff at home.I will deffinitely buy it again on different color.
