Colorful and Action Packed, nice addition to the BNHA lineup - I am not sure why some people are having issues with this, but when I rented the Original Japanese Version and looked at the audio settings in the player, the movie was indeed playing with Japanese voice acting. The subtitles were built into the movie itself. I didn't see an English audio option in the settings. The movie was fun, action packed, and you get to see they UA Class A's colorful cast of characters. I would say that if you can get your hands on Heroes Rising that you'll get a *little* more exploration with One for All (OFA) and development between the characters, but this movie was primarily for the action and fun. Beautiful art as always. There are a few nods towards character development here, but it makes sense that there would be more progress in later seasons/Hero Rising. TL/DR: you can watch with Japanese Audio. Fun, lots of action, great ending fight scene. Watch Two Heroes to see a little more background for All Might, and watch Heroes Rising if you want to taste more of One for All's possibilities and see Midoriya and Bakugou shine with more action from their classmates overall. Would say this movie is more of a complementary addition to the series than a necessity, and less fulfilling than Heroes Rising, but still worth watching. Review: Genuinely a good movie & story - When reading these reviews I was looking for someone to confirm that this movie, which is by nature not part of the main story arc of the series, is actually a worthwhile and satisfying story on its own. A lot of the reviews are simply, "Plus Ultra!" type slogans, which didn't really confirm whether this thing is actually good on its own. I expect the super fans to like it, but I wanted a somewhat more objective description. In terms of anime movies that take place outside the main story arc, and therefore, don't necessarily affect it, a lot of those kinds of movies really lack any feeling of real stakes or character progression or even a satisfying story. So from that perspective I was very impressed with this one! The story was genuinely interesting and fun. The characters and world felt consistent with the show, and the story found room for impactful emotional character moments, even with the new characters introduced here. Animation was superb, and the action was really well done, but that's to be expected from Studio Bones. The fact that the story, characters and dialog were all genuinely well done and satisfying was a pleasant surprise. So if anyone had similar concerns to me, rest easy!
