**Q: Is this compatible with the 3000 series?**
A: I believe I have the 3000 series (I have one of the day original ones). It works great on my console.

**Q: What type of mulitap would work for a ps2 slim schp 90001?**
A: The multi-tap featured in the graphic will work with the slimline PS2, but you have to do some after market tweaks. It seems like all the multi-taps were designed for the original PS2 box and they won't fit snug enough for the slimline. There are a few articles online on how to fix any of the multi-taps so they will work for the slimline PS2. Overall, what you will end up doing is unscrewing the casing for the short side of the multi-taps connector, using the excess wiring that is wound up in the casing and pulling the short side of the connector out to match the length of the long side of the connector. You then use (not joking) super glue to glue the short side back to the casing and when it dries screw the casing back together and the multi-tap will work just fine on the slimline PS2. Just remember to be careful when removing the multi-tap from the console or you may have to go back and glue it all over again.
