Didn’t want to buy a whole new cage put the skirt on and there is definitely less mess on my floor . I do recommend this product Review: Some minor flaws, but would definitely recommend - In terms of functionality, this thing is excellent. It’s segmented into a bunch of pieces so you can adjust it to fit many different sized cages. My conures cage is quite large, around 4 ft wide. It is a little unsightly, the cage already took up so much space and this thing adds a good several inches to the perimeter. But it works so much better than those nets that wrap around the bottom. My conure stays outside of his cage most the day so he drops food and poops off the side of his cage so the net wouldn’t work. If your bird is out of their cage or you have perches on the outside of the cage this thing is a life saver. It kind of works. I dislike returning things, and it does help somewhat. I have a large rectangular cage for my parakeets. What I don’t like is it falls apart all the time! The clips they provide aren’t sufficient, and the additional pieces should be engineered to fit together better. They should also provide more clips, because the clips fall off constantly. They are easily lost. I would pay more if the design was updated and improved. I feel like the amount I paid was too much for this junky ugly design that constantly falls apart. When it does stay together, soon after I re- assemble it, it does cut down on the amount of seed, debris that comes out of cage. I like that they created several pieces to fit any size cage, but the pieces need to connect together better without falling apart. Also it would be nice have color choice to match the cage. My cage is light gray, some cages are light tan or dark burgundy. It’s very ugly looking especially when it constantly falls apart! I don’t have time to fuss with re-assembly every day in morning or night. I think I will still continue to use it.
