LeeMark Leaf gauge is one of the most cost-effective dental Diagnostics. The leaf gauge is made of 56 individual polyester strips. Each leaf is 0.1mm thick making it extremely accurate. The device is highly valued by Dental professionals to incrementally process Occlusal equilibration, for maintenance of vertical dimension in the recording of interocclussal records and the initial diagnosis of prematurity especially in TMJ disturbances.

As a dental professional, precision is non-negotiable, especially when it comes to reducing tooth enamel. This gauge, however, consistently fails to measure the correct space between teeth, which could easily lead to over or under-reduction of enamel. The inaccuracy of this tool is not just a minor inconvenience—it poses a serious risk to patient care. Reducing too much enamel can compromise the structural integrity of the tooth, potentially leading to sensitivity, decay, and other long-term dental issues. On the other hand, insufficient reduction could result in improper alignment and a less effective treatment outcome. To make matters worse, I was not able to get a refund for this defective product. Given the importance of precision in IPR, I cannot recommend this gauge. It's crucial for dental professionals to have tools they can rely on, and this one simply doesn't meet the necessary standards for accuracy.
