It is maybe smaller than it appears but not too small. The cinch opening doesn't really allow for it to open completely which is not so great. It is cute and fun. But If you look too closely the workmanship is marginal. things don't quite match up and there was extra glue here and there which I carefully removed. For the price whose to complain!
