VMD Cannon Commando Toy Vehicle

Bought both this and the red as I have two kids (7 and 9) and they couldnt have the same ones. Purchased at $20 (less than half retail) and overall a nice toy. Missiles are similar to the nerf type missiles. They shoot fast and come out quick which is a hoot. They Big complaint is batteries. 6 AAs and a 9 volt. Directions say not to use rechargable. I assume this is to avoid voltage changes to the motors but at the price of batteries Ill chance it. Dont pay full retail, catch it on sale and keep expectations reasonable.

My 9 year old loves it! Beware thought, those little missiles sting a bit when the hit your skin! I had to make a rule about not shooting people in the face and not shooting the dogs or cat at all!!

Fans of Nerf (especially office war types) will find this a neat addition to their arsenal. Ranges are around 30 feet arced (note that the angle of the cannon has to be manually adjusted); rate of fire is slow-ish at about 1.5-2 seconds between each shot, and being a flywheel blaster, after pulling the trigger it takes a moment to rev up before launching a dart. Don't count on sneak attacks, however--this critter's motors are loud.And this should be good news for anyone who buys this toy: Nerf streamline darts (Elite and the old style) will work on this just as well as the included proprietary darts. However, I would not recommend non-streamline darts (suctions, whistlers, taggers) as the heads are too wide and will jam between the flywheels.

This looks really cool and it is, mostly. You can't adjust the cannon up or down. Not too big of a deal. When you fire, it does take a couple of seconds for it to execute and they don't shoot very far. So...it is kind of fun but I guess I expected more.

This toy was not very fun especially for the cost. No vertical movement, and not very good driving. Plus had trouble with the remote loosing contact and having to be turned off and on.

Daughter loves this toy, Works great and was shipped and received on time with no issues.

This is a great toy that adults will also enjoy. The darts have quite a lot of power and I love the tank style handling of the tracks. Wonderful all around and have definitely recommended to friends!

The VMD Cannon Commando Vehicle is a fun toy. The grandchildren had a blast with it. It was a big hit at Christmas with the adults as well as the children. would recommend this to kids of any age !
