Review: Fit my old Dremel and Flex extension! - I had an old dremel model 4000 and flex extension, but did not have the driver cap. I got a new flex extension, but ut did not thread properly on the odl dremel. This worked without cross threading!

You just have to make sure when installing that you’re feeding the threads gently and correctly, especially if you have an older unit that has been used a lot. Worth the $10 than dealing with the cheap Chinese 2/$8 gimmicks. Just spend the extra $2 and lose the headache.
