I have (unfortunately) already seen that it protects during a drop incident. Fortunately, it did what claims and protected my tablet! I didn't realize that fit some reason the model for the Surface Go does NOT include the kickstand that the one for my Surface Pro includes, so I'm probably going to have to order that separately, as it's annoying not being able to stand it up when using an external keyboard.
