It had a curved bow not allowing a normal trolling motor mount. The Procontroll worked great. I have kayaks and will eventually try it out. I would now but it is in FL and I'm in IN. I Think it might work if you have sides on your Kayak that allows it. May need to use a board to help brace. **Q: Are there any pictures of it on other boats other than a jon? I have an eight one alumacraft v hull. I'm sure it would fit.
