Your common tool has a 5-6" opening. This tool is heavy duty. **Q: Has anyone used this to remove/ install hub bearings?** A: I was just thinking about that. Heavy is an understatement and it easily does trucks of these sizes with the adapters from the other kit. Worth it in every way as I was able to complete a 1-ton truck in half the time it took with a smaller press as I didn't have to change out adapters mid-press.
