Recently, that motion began to cause me some pain. My doctor advised me to rest it for a few MONTHS & recommended that I come into his office to pick up a split. Needless to say, the splint was gigantic & very uncomfortable. It was restrictive in ways that limited my ability to move parts of my hand that didn't require immobilization. The splint was causing a bigger issue while remedying the thumb issue. I already knew that I would likely not wear the splint for longer than a few days, so I looked on Amazon for other options.I tried two other types/brands from other sellers before I found this splint. I had no idea that finding a good thumb splint would be so difficult. I was relieved to find this seller & the combo pack. The splint is small enough so that it's not cumbersome, but strong enough to keep my thumb from bending/moving in ways that aggravate the tendon. It remains securely in place when it is fastened. At the same time, it is easy to remove when I am doing the dishes or washing my hands. The finger sleeves are also tremendously helpful. They're thicker than they appear in the photos (which is great). The elastic in them allows for a moderate degree of bending. From the time I put the sleeve on (most of yesterday & through the night), I haven't felt the painful popping sound that my thumb makes. Last night, I slept with a finger sleeve on my thumb & it was so comfortable that I forgot that I still had it on. I have a tendency of removing splints in the middle of the night. But not this time. You rock! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ ONE great splint, one useless knuckle sleeve *by L***Ó on Reviewed in the United States on February 24, 2020* First and foremost, be advised, you will receive ONE (in this case yellow) finger splint. The 2nd item advertised in this set is a small, flexible, useless knuckle sleeve. I don’t know what purpose it’s supposed to serve, other than to create the illusion that you’ll be receiving 2 splints. That said, the ONE splint we recv’d is great. Unfortunately my husband has 2 trigger fingers, so I’ll be ordering another splint + 1 useless knuckle embellishment. My husband has HUGE hands, and we’ve wasted plenty of money on countless splints only to be left with a useless splint that isn’t big enough to stabilize his massive digits. Enter this perfect splint. Not only is the splint available in his favorite color, but the splint FITS. After trigger finger surgery on 2 fingers, his healing is slow and a splint on each of the 2 fingers repaired is needed. Outstanding splint. I just wish the weird “bonus” 2nd item was excluded so I could’ve ordered exactly the number of splints we needed the first time around. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works well, comfortable *by A***L on Reviewed in the United States on March 22, 2020* I purchased the set with two splints and two sleeves. Which is good, because my cats think they're super fun to play with and hide. I use on the middle finger of my dominate hand. My finger will lock up if bent too far and I have to use my other hand to straighten it back out. I find the splint good when I'm doing heavy lifting, at night, or whenever the trigger finger is really acting up. I like the sleeve for day use, doing light household tasks, working on my artwork, or whenever I need a reminder not to bend that finger.
