I pressed small pebbles into it as I put the foam down to help make it look more natural. Also, the immediate resulting color is a purple black which was not very attractive. I was going to paint it however lucky for me I never got time to do it. Three weeks later and it looks like the rocks around it...A grayish green...So just wait a few weeks and you will be very happy with the resulting color. The kind of pond that one buys in Home Depot stores.** A: Yes, i have rocks sticking to my plastic waterfall which is prefab. I used this product and the rocks have not come off . **Q: With this product will I be able to remove the rocks from the rubber liner at a later date without damaging the rubber liner?** A: It usually stays attached to the rock and not the liner, I've never damaged my liner while moving the rocks but my liner is very thick. **Q: Is this product carvable?** A: Yes, you can trim it. It is a good product. **Q: How long does it last before it starts to degrade / breakdown?** A: I've found it deteriorates faster in the sun and exposed to harsh temp changes, but that has taken years. Under water it holds a lot longer and we have had to use something to chip it away in order to rearrange the hardware. Our pond has been in for almost 20 years and I only very occasionally have to reapply the foam. The tube gets clogged with the foam and hardens if it sits overnight or longer and is useless.
