They are pretty tough chews so start out small and work up to meduim if you feel you need to. I have 3 dogs all different sizes (jack russell, dogue de bordeaux & a large american bulldog) all 3 of my dogs happily eat the small chews. I have let the dogs try the medium and large size chews but to be honest with you I saw no reason to keep buying the bigger chews when all 3 of my dogs are just as happy eating the smaller ones. Whimzees are similar (timewise) in how your dog would eat a dentastix, these chews are just a little tougher, so the dog has to really CHEW to get through them :) **Q: How many calories are in one medium chew?** A: Sorry I only buy the small ones but looked on the packet it doesn’t say about calories. **Q: Are these suitable for puppies? We have a 12 week old miniature dachshund...** A: In the whimzees feeding guidelines they say they are not suitable for dogs under 9months **Q: How many in a bag plz?** A: Good question. I now receive the toothbrush and the "Pedigree" style chews. The latter was in a box of 30 but now both are in plastic bags of 24. This is for the small size. I've also tried the medium toothbrush but, frankly, these do not last any longer than the small size and I think they are ALL overpriced. My StaffieFrench bulldog loves them but he seems to be demolishing them quicker than before. He chews them but has teeth like a piranha. I'm beginning to wonder if these 2×24 per month are worth the £18 plus. He gets the toothbrush at around 4 pm and the 'chew chew' after his nighttime walkies. Do they really clean his teeth? I don't know ~ the vet said 2 years old that he had tartar. This year another vet said his teeth were fine. He's now 4 year's old. I also buy the supplement of seaweed, parsley and mint which you sprinkle on food and the result is meant to be more saliva that cleans the nashers. This dog has me over a barrow! But I am annoyed at 24 piece bags. There are 5 months of 30 days, six of 31 and so, neither are providing a monthly supply even for February. I'm going to check price because this is a bit of a rip off! What has the manufacturer to say? The smallest size has more but I wouldn't risk his choking. The larger sizes have less or the cost is prohibitively expensive. I feel owners are being taken advantage of. Sorry for the long answer. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Jack Russell loves Whimzees *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 23 March 2026* My jack Russell hates getting teeth brushed and could never get her to stay still to reach the back teeth and it stressed her and myself, the tartar was building up on back teeth. I went to local pet store to find a solution and found the Whimzees. I give my dog one small stix a day she loves them and with in a week there was huge difference. The shape off the chew encourages her to use her back teeth to chew and it takes her longer to chew through the stix, which she didn't do with other types of dental sticks , this chewing action has helped remove the hard tartar and improve her stinky breath, which I know was giving her discomfort as always scratching at her mouth. Using The Whimzees stix is less stressful for us both when using this as part off her tooth health and also brushing teeth. I also recommended Whimzees to my sister-in-law for her collie as having the same dental issues and it's worked with removing tartar and means fresher breath. I order two bags at a time now to make sure I never run out. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very good and much cheaper then in shops *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 9 July 2024* The dog treats shaped as toothbrushes have been a fantastic find for my furry friend. Coming in a pack of 30, they offer a convenient month's supply, ensuring my dog gets a daily treat that also promotes dental health. The toothbrush shape is not just a gimmick; it effectively helps clean my dog's teeth, reducing plaque and tartar buildup while freshening their breath. One of the most appealing aspects is the cost savings. These treats are 50% cheaper than the same product in stores, making them an excellent value for money without compromising on quality. My dog loves the taste, and I appreciate the peace of mind knowing that each treat contributes to better oral hygiene. The packaging is practical and keeps the treats fresh throughout the month. The treats are also made from high-quality, dog-safe ingredients, which is crucial for my pet's health. In summary, these toothbrush-shaped dog treats are a win-win. They offer significant savings, excellent dental benefits, and are a hit with my dog. Highly recommended for any pet owner looking to combine treats with dental care. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My dog loves them *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 17 August 2026* My dog loves these, he get one a day and it's really helping with his breath. The vet commented on how clean his teeth are! Highly recommend and not a bit of raw hide - fabulous for teeth and easy on the tummy. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.pe/products/90728631-toothbrush-l-month-box-30-pieces-size-l](https://www.desertcart.pe/products/90728631-toothbrush-l-month-box-30-pieces-size-l) --- *Product available on Desertcart Peru* *Store origin: PE* *Last updated: 2026-11-04*
