When they stopped selling it in the stores, I went to normal Crest and I would get my teeth scraped so much at the dentist it hurt the next day or two. Needing your teeth scraped that much is not healthy, so I found this on amazon. My teeth are so much cleaner and my dentist has not been hurting me anymore. My dentist noticed the improvement and I told it was the tartar control Crest. She nodded in understanding and told me it is too harsh for her. I don't think it is harsh at all. I don't have to brush extra hard and I can tell my teeth are getting cleaner than normal when I use it. I recommend it! It makes my teeth pretty white too. I usually floss and then do a water brush to get any loose plaque that broke free when I flossed.
