It sits about 5/16' out from the slide on both sides and is 11/16" tall. Provides a great handle to improve the hold on the slide during charging of the weapon.Fit is perfect on the G19. Bought it for my wife and it made it easier for her to rack the slide. The butterfly is etched into the aluminum well enough to be felt and should not fade. We have not tried this in a holster yet as we have yet to decided on which one to get. I think that for a Glock part this one is slightly expensive. Extended slide locks are 2 to 4 dollars compared to this item, which I bought for about 27 bucks. The only issue is the color. It stands out like a sore thumb when mounted on a black firearm. It's very conspicuous. The next one will be black. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Straight to the point review *by R***. on February 15, 2017* * Product looks nice and attractive.* Design give ample leverage to weaker or slippery hand users.* Fit is snug and does not wriggle. If it ever becomes loose after a few hundred rounds on a G19 I'll update this review. *Update* after 150+ rounds, the fit is fine.* The U channel, where the slide and back plate mates, was cut a little too deep. With the 2 vertical lines of an U represents the back plate and the spring stop, instead of a U channel it now formed an H. Hope it will not become a weak spot and break off if the user rigorously practice 1 hand racking using an edge of a solid object.* The stencil is slightly off center to the left. The "zomby.....team" text are too small and lines on the alphabet are not fine enought that it almost forms a blob and are borderline legible. It does not look as legible as it looked on this product photo. Should I have known this before hand, I would have picked a design that's simpler and with less detail.Overall, satisfied with the purchase, albeit a little on the expensive side. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fantastic product but not quite as advertised cosmetically *by B***S on July 8, 2017* Not uncomfortable at all! I'll be blunt and admit to being a fat kid and was concerned about this pressing into my spare tire factory. I need not have worried. The edges are beveled to begin with and the racket really doesn't stick out much past my IWB holster to begin with. The picture shows the Unit crest with the motto clearly shown below it. When the racket arrived it did not have the motto on the black banner, this cost the product a star.
