It's suitable for use with a variety of different types of routers. The on-line illustration and description of the product is a bit confusing because it shows the Router Raizer installed on a Fein-brand router. The product is ONLY the Router Raizer and does NOT include a router. Instructions are well-written and thorough. I installed the Router Raizer on a Triton router. The installation was not difficult, but it did take some time. I'm happy with the result. It's much easier, now, to adjust the height of the bit on my router - I no longer have to lift the router and mounting plate from the table to adjust the setting. This is a much more cost effective solution than a router lift like a JessEm or an Incra, though it's probably not as precise (I don't need the ultimate in precision) and requires making permanent modifications to your router (technically, the Router Razier can probably be removed but, effectively it becomes a permanently installed part of your router). I now have this router in my table and it works better than I thought it would--- the XtremeXtension is the key to making this work really well, above table bit changing is really quick and easy.I found the RouteRazer very well designed, engineered and machined. As this kit is designed to be adaptable to several brands of routers the instructions can be a bit confusing and the kit I received was missing a critical component but I called Bob the owner, designer and help desk manager and he clarified all of my questions and sent me the missing part via next day mail (no charge). I am as much impressed by the design and clever adaptation to all types of routers as I am by it's ease of use. My router was not that easy to use in my table prior to adaptation of this devise.
