The only annoying thing about it was every time you wanted to use the attachment hose you had to pop open the front and remove the rubber belt, then when you were done, you had to get the belt back on with a little tool that came with the vac. It was a nuisance but the vac worked great. Well, that vac lived it's best life and while we don't have wall to wall carpet I did want something to vacuum the furniture and car. This new model is better than the previous - no more removing belts - just pop the hose attachment in the front and you're good to go. The suction power is pretty impressive and the cord is long enough for our needs.
