Mr. Kershaw is the working definition of a teacher: 1/3 knowledge, 1/3 skill, 1/3 entertainment: he knows his material, is skilled at presenting it, and holds the students interest while doing so. From K-12 on up, education is a series of building blocks. What you learn at one level is often the foundation for the next. And across the board, this is the greatest flaw in education today - if a student fails to comprehend a building block in a foundation class, grasping related concepts in more advanced presentations are that much harder.This is not an issue with Video trainer Access 2010. The course is divided into three levels of training - Basic, Intermediate and Master. Within each level are mini-video presentations, each concentrating on one aspect of Access 2010. The student viewing Advanced Tables in in Level 2, or Level 3, can easily return to an earlier video in Level 1 or 2 to reinforce an earlier building block if need be. This technique allows the student to view each video until they are comfortable with the topic covered. And, because his voice is so easy on the ears, repeated viewings of a topic are not problematic.Finally, there is a PDF with Instructors notes for each level (which I recommend be printed and kept close at hand to add your own notes as the sections are viewed). There is a Student Question PDF and an accompanying Instructor Answer PDF for each level. Finally, where appropriate, there are exercises for the lesson which can be done in concert with the video presentation.
