Review: Great Backpacking Tent Light - I purchased this light to use as a dome light in my tent while backpacking. I chose it for three reasons: 1. It's lightweight; 2. It uses AAA batteries (the same as my head lights); 3. It has several settings for brightness. This light works very well for this purchase. It mounted to the top loop in my REI Half Dome 2 Plus without a problem, the light had varying levels of intensity that were suitable for the situation, it was small and lightweight, and it did not dim or otherwise go out over approximately 8 total hours of use. It has found a permanent place in my backpack's lighting kit. My only complaint about this light is that you have to click through each setting, and the last two settings are emergency strobe settings. It can be slightly annoying to have the strobe go off, but that's not enough of an annoyance to give anything less than five full stars to this product.

The light diffuses nicely from them. Could be a little brighter, but they are bright enough to eat by. There are two brightness settings and a blinking setting, too. The only thing I don't like about them is that you have to cycle through all of the modes to turn them off. These would probably be great for camping tent lights, which is what I'll likely use them for if I can ever afford to get the dining room light fixture repaired or replaced.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good light but goes through batteries very quickly

These little lights put out quite a bit of light. Just one lights our tent enough to play games, but in about an hour it dims to half power and you can't see well enough to do anything.
