We used the 2700 soft light version and it is so bright that I also installed dimmer switches. I can not imagine using a higher lumen model like 6,000. It's great that they include all the connectors you will need for a need construction or an upgrade from recessed cans that we had. I purchased the 24 pack and install all them all with ease.
