I got this after trying the usual ash and newspaper/soapy water/ etc etc remedies that you hear about and it really does work brilliantly. Spray on, wait a minute, no more, and wipe off almost all the sooty deposit. Almost miraculous. Protect the surrounding metalwork, however, because it dries white where you've not wiped it off; or wipe it off with a damp cloth when you see the white, so it's not exactly a problem.

The glass cleaner I was using on the door of my wood burner was very hard work!! The moment I sprayed this on the door I could see the difference! The blackness just melted away and I wiped it away with almost no effort at all!! Would recommend.

I bought this product for cleaning the glass door of our Aga wood burner. It was fairly discoloured and covered in a thick layer of creosote from burning wood. Had tried a few different products and nothing worked. This stuff was amazing - just a few drops on the glass and wiped off with a warm wet cloth and the glass looks brand new. Excellent product and great seller.

This product works well for the intended use. Based on a similar product (purchased in France) it also helps to clean burnt products from stainless steel saucepans and the stainless steel interior of microwave ovens (not necessarily recommended by the manufacturer).

Best product I've found for cleaning glass in a wood fire stove.Cleans very easily even when the glass is black, with soot baked on.I have tried many other products and methods to clean a double sided glass wood burner and this is by far the best.Highly recommend!

I would have given this 5 stars but it arrived in a bit of a mess-having been rescued by Royal Mail from leaking everywhere! The lid wasn't quite tight enough so it had to be delivered in a plastic bag provided by the Post Office. Fortunately, I hadn't lost too much of the cleaner!

Not much difference from using just water. It didn't shift any of the baked on tarry stuff. However I used a "magic sponge" instead which, with a bit of elbow grease, got rid of every speck.

After 2 years of trying to find something to keep the glass clean on my wood burning stove, I was recommended to use this product. Just a brief spray and a wipe off and the glass is shining. I could not have asked for more.
