I love this knife!
I've wanted a tracker for a while, I was weary of getting a cheap one. A friend of mine told me about Buck N Bear knives and he swears by them so I thought I would give them a shot. I would say the over all quality is definitely on par with the price. In fact just focusing on the knife I would say it's easily in the $100+ range by itself without the sheath. It's quality D2 steel, it's got a great feel to it. I wasn't quite sure how I would feel about the size but the knife is a lot nicer in person! Don't let the pictures make you question the sheath either. I wasn't sure how good a sheath could be if the knife was $100 and as high of quality as it is. But the sheath is a nice sturdy leather that's well stitched. Buck N Bear definitely takes the time to offer a quality product. After this they're my go to brand. They have an extremely wide selection and don't hesitate to check out their other stuff too.If you're looking for a great bushcraft knife, you'll be happy with this one.Edit: I would recommend looking at their site before buying from Amazon. I was all excited getting my knife in the mail only to find out I missed out on a BOGO sale on their site.

My new “city slicker” EDC
This is a damn good knife for its $100 range value. It is now my EDC, especially for my weekend chores (yard work, Costco and hardware store runs, helping my grandparents with their animals). The blade is solid and It feels good in the hand. It is a little heavier than expected, but not unusual for a tracker knife of this size. I would give this a 5 star rating if the sheath was better. It’s not horrible though. Note: I have not yet field tested the knife in the bush. But I don’t expect any problems.I really like the scout carry option for this knife. It is not monstrous like the Tom Brown tracker T1 (which I really like). I can conceal the knife behind my back without freaking anyone out about it.Btw, I received it in the mail one day earlier than expected. The company followed my instructions to leave it in the garage, safe and away from any porch pirates. Thank you BNB!

Premium blade at a reasonable price.
Great knife! Wasn't as sharp as it could have been but I took care of that with a good whetstone.Used it for some yard chores, and for all i did with it(cut some cordage, an split some kindling an bundled it up) still holding a remarkable edge!If your on the fence about getting this fine blade, don't be. Well worth the $$$$$!

Not happy.
The knife is good quality and has an interesting blade. Now, the not so good. I have a medium size hand, and the fit is marginal for me. If you have a big hand, you might be sending it back after you try it. Next, the sharpening tool is RUSTED. The sheath is a problem. Look at the picture, if you draw the knife out, you could draw it across the strap that holds the knife in. Also, like they say, it is horizontal hold. Now that I have it at home, I find it limiting. Also, the 2 straps that act to attach to a belt are very tight to the back of the sheath. If you have a big belt, it might not fit unless you attach it using only one snap instead of 2. This might be the worst sheath design in my collection.Last, there is a little pouch on the front of the sheath. Mine came with a slice across the bottom, making the thing not usable. I was thinking of just super gluing it but after reading the above I think I'll return it. Not sure why I should be doing quality assurance for them.

This is one sweet knife, at a really sweet price!
I recently purchased this knife after seeing the review in the July 2017 issue of American Survival Guide. I received my order promptly, and the knife is a gorgeous piece of work! The feel and balance are fantastic and unlike many knives I've purchased, this came with a razor-sharp edge! Buck n Bear has been a pleasure to work with, and I look forward to dealing with them again.

Great Knife! Solid construction
Great Knife!Solid construction, smooth handle with full-tang blade. The knife is a little heavier than I thought but I can tell it is sturdy. Arrived extremely sharp and ready for action. Definitely worth the price.

Not ferro rod friendly
Awesome knife, great workmanship.I wish the top spine was edged for using aFerro rod, the coating makes it to slick to use a ferro rod, which every bushcraft knife should be able to perform far as fire starting.I’m going to field test this knife as any hunter or camper would use a knife for.
