As highlighted by other reviewer's, it is most definitely different. The replacement jack has an added ground pin beside the original. The depth of them aligns the jack incorrectly, thus not allowing the case to close. If you take side cutters and remove the added on pin's (both sides), this puts the jack almost in the factory position. The height difference is still about 0.01. Simply take a file and carefully machine down the other set of pins. After those two modifications, the jack fits right in and can be then soldered to the board. ### ⭐ 1.0 out of 5 stars This part does NOT fit the listed models, and does NOT match the image. *by D***E on Reviewed in the United States on November 20, 2018* I ordered a DC jack for an Asus K501U, which does match the picture listed on the item.However, twice now they have sent me a DC jack that is different from the one pictured, and does not fit the laptop.In the picture, the one on the left is the original.
