I use it on the new Macbook Pro 15 inch with touch bar. No problems there. Compared to other adaptors this one is well priced. The reason I gave it 4 stars and not 5 is the build quality. The white plastic fascia, although having two holes which looks like it should be screwed into place, do not have any screws. When the product arrived the fascia was detached, so it needed putting back into place. The product was not damaged in any way. I just think the build quality could have just been a little better. When I looked closely at the picture, it does show that there are no screws, so I did get what was described.
