Personally I do not think it is suitable. I used the material for lining and making costumes for the local carnival. **Q: Could this be used to cover a lampshade?** A: O it was really thin and cheap - I wouldn’t buy this again **Q: Can you order this as 8 metres continuous material? (Will this be suitable for Making curtains)** A: I used this as lining for making tote bag (linings) to sell for a charity.
