If not for the incredibly well-done content I'd call it a "children's book".On production quality and presentation though I give it 5 stars and recommend the purchase. Although it's very short (unsatisfyingly so), the quality of artwork, appearance of the pages (as a thumb-worn well-used manual) and general humor of the book makes it a "must have" for dragon fans.The only real drawback is that the author calls baby dragons "chicks"... which we all know is highly inappropriate. Calling a dragon a "chick" is a good way to get ankle-bit and char-flamed around the lower regions. I know from personal experience that dragons of all ages are highly intelligent (due to inherited genetic memory)... and every baby dragon is of the opinion it's a "big dragon"... regardless of size. It's an attitude thing.Upon reading the book I question whether the author has actually raised dragons or not; a lot of it seems merely works of imagination. But it's creditable imagination so I'll give him credit for creativity. Perhaps a future release of the book will benefit from real-life experience and some actual photos instead of hand-drawn sketches and assumptions. One would think he'd have consulted with dragon professionals such as myself to find out more about the actual creatures. I can tell you this: never play poker with one if you wish to retain the contents of your wallet. They're skilled bluffers. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A nice companion piece *by T***H on Reviewed in the United States on 3 August 2013* I purchased this cute little book to go along with another item I purchased: Kelkay 4903 Baby on Ball Green Dragon Statue as part of a gift for my mother. The little Kelkay dragon on his egg looks like an almost exact replica of the little dragon on the cover that my mother thought it was an actual set that went together.It's a very short little book (it's about the size of the average woman's hand -- wrist to finger tip), more like a "How-to" manual, really. You can read through it, cover to cover, in about 15-20 minutes, taking in all the little details and writings in the corners.The book is also a "soft" hardcover, so try not to put pressure on it with anything hard or sharp, like finger nails or used it as a firm surface when writing a note, it will leave the impressions behind. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Its a short book that's great for future dragon parents. *by R***9 on Reviewed in the United States on 1 November 2019* Its a cute book about how to raise dragons from a "professional" dragonologist point of view.
