If cut tube, won't that dry it out? My tube has one end sealed, and the other open -- is that normal?** A: You don’t cut the tube open. There’s a cap that is taped on, which you do cut the tape. As long as the two colors are separated, it shouldn’t harden. They may shrink after time, but the tube isn’t air tight, there’s a hole in the cap for air to go in and out of.
