The best thing that I could wear as an outer coat is a rain coat with a removable lining so it can adjust for all weather and this coat is machine washable. That is why this coat is perfect. I looked everyplace for a machine washable raincoat with lining and I could not find any except coats that are made as part of the skinny clothes trends so I can't wear a suit under any thing I saw out there.I think the reviewers saying this coat is cut large (and it is) don't probably get that this was made to also accommodate you wearing a dress jacket under it. It looks good in a formal and informal setting. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This jacket conquered England! *by H***T on November 1, 2014* I took this jacket as my only outer coat on a recent autumn trip to London, that turned out to include one of the rainiest, most blustery stretches on record. It served perfectly, shedding the torrential rain like a proverbial duck and buffering against wind gusts the way "windbreakers" rarely are able to do. The removable liner was just right for the autumn cold, and with a sweater to reinforce the uninsulated sleeves, the jacket would also serve in mild winter conditions. The liner even zips to the top of the neck to serve perfectly well in place of a muffler if you forget one (which I did). When the weather warmed, I just removed the liner, so that the jacket served just as well in the more moderate conditions. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Stylish coat that does the job! *by J***C on April 17, 2018* Love the bib style. Coat looks modern, stylish, nice material and workmanship. Tried two other sizes 3XB and 4XB in additional to the 3XT (for guy 350 lb 6' 1", shirt 18 34/35) the 3XB fit fine but over suit when raised arms felt the sleeves rode up too much so went with the 3XT. Sleeves were a tad long then but preferred that to too short when raised. Wore it in rain and unexpected snow storm (bit light for that but brief time outside so OK) and made out fine. Fit well over suit. Keep in mind it doesn't have a hood so you will still need an umbrella or hat in heavier rain. The seller was extremely helpful--responded quickly to inquires about shipping (needed quick for a trip).
