To power it I used a 24v/6.25A (~150W) power supply. The strip I used uses a max of 150W, which can potentially be an issue if you drive all 5 color channels. One caveat that's Hue specific: Hue WILL NOT let you add effects to a third party controller. So long as you know that, you're good to go.
