So I got this heat sink and while running videos on YouTube with the standard aluminum little heatsink I was hitting into the mid 80 degrees Centigrade range this drop me down into the 60 degrees Centigrade range around 65 60 in that area. I added a fan and that drop me down into the mid 40 degree range cutting the previous heat range in half. Excellent product highly recommended. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Well made but tape may reduce heat conductance. *by D***. on Reviewed in the United States on December 23, 2014* The copper(ish) baseplate of this heatsink set is much thicker than the MCM unit this "appears" to be a copy of. This is not a terrible thing as it may increase cooling. Center section of tape cut away and replaced with Arctic MX-4 to increase (possibly) conductivity. Left outside edge of tape in place to allow adherence to RAM/Processor. I like the COPPER material, and the "pin" design; they work + are beautiful!
