Artifacts from compression or the use of low quality scalers can result in reduced picture quality. iScan Mini is specifically designed to automatically upscale both SD and HD sources up to 4K resolution or the best resolution the display can handle while enhancing original source content. Other key features also include video setup and adjustment tools, EDID editing, and S/PDIF digital audio output. In addition, the iScan Mini's small package size provides a clean set up, which can be placed behind an existing AVR or even wall mounted TV. Key Features VRS ClearView Technology Internet Video Cleanup Detail Enhancement for increased image depth and clarity Scaling up to 4K/60 Demo mode for side-by-side viewing of enhancements On-Screen Video EDID Editing Display set-up tools Digital Audio stripping to S/PDIF 4K Scaling: Three modes include Auto scale to best TV can handle, Manual mode to choose a resolution, or bypass scaling Video Enhancement: Multiple individual video enhancement controls for video levels, SD and HD enhancements including internet video repair and detail enhancement. 8 enhancement presets and auto switching between presets based on video type. Display setup test patterns, EDID editing for fixing compatibility issues, and Audio Stripping to S/PDIF to aid in professional setups. Review: Worth The Money! - My set up is an LG C8 OLED, Fios using a Sony AVR for video switching. The LG has a phenomenal picture when fed a good signal. As such, streaming via Netflix, desertcart Prime, Google Play with a 4K / HDR signal is frankly mesmerizing. The issue was with my Fios signal. I noticed it was not nearly as sharp (soft edges on text and a bit of blooming). I calibrated the TV which helped but still not good enough with much of the SD and HD content coming through Fios. I took a gamble and decided to purchase this and installed it between the AVR and TV and results have been very good to excellent. Playing around with the settings resulted in me using Auto for resolution and heavy edge enhancement. The demo is really cool as you can see the before and after processing results. I'm going to fiddle with the test patterns a bit to see if there is any more to get out of the unit but really very good right out of the box. Review: Awesome upscaling... - Great for getting the dish network upscaled from 1080i to 1080p, makes a huge difference in you picture quality, Just be sure you have a spare usb port on tv to be able to turn on and off without having to use remote to do it because the remote will not turn on and off till they fix firm wear..But all and all a great little product.. ## Features - VRS ClearView adaptive 4K HDMI scaling and Video Enhancements - Internet Video Repair - Detail and Edge Enhancements make video pop with depth and clarity - Professional display setup test pattern tools for fast video optimization - EDID Editing, Audio Stripping, and flexible scaling and enhancement modes for professional home theater setup ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B00KXN7DZE | | Brand | DVDO | | Brand Name | DVDO | | Compatible Devices | Television | | Customer Reviews | 3.9 out of 5 stars 73 Reviews | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00880802000190 | | Interface | HDMI | | Interface Type | HDMI | | Item Weight | 4.8 ounces | | Manufacturer | DVDO INC | | Model | DVDO-4KSVP | | Mounting Type | Wall Mount | | Number of Channels | 6 | | Number of Pins | 19 | | Part Number | DVDO-4KSVP | | UPC | 880802000190 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | | Warranty Description | 1 year | ## Product Details - **Brand:** DVDO - **Interface Type:** HDMI - **Mounting Type:** Wall Mount - **Number of Channels:** 6 - **Number of Pins:** 19 ## Images ![DVDO DVDO-4KSVP iScan Mini 4K Scaler Video Enhancement System with Display Setup, Audio Stripping and EDID Editing - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81rIsR2-nrL.jpg) ![DVDO DVDO-4KSVP iScan Mini 4K Scaler Video Enhancement System with Display Setup, Audio Stripping and EDID Editing - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/815Aoo4iGrL.jpg) ![DVDO DVDO-4KSVP iScan Mini 4K Scaler Video Enhancement System with Display Setup, Audio Stripping and EDID Editing - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81iq8TJNYTL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Worth The Money! *by M***U on March 6, 2019* My set up is an LG C8 OLED, Fios using a Sony AVR for video switching. I am using it with a Sony VPL VW1100ES. Upscaling DirecTV to 4K while watching preseason NFL football has never looked so clean. The Ring Suppression has worked wonders. I have tested it with a few different broadcasts and going back and forth between 4K and pass through has shown me the proof in the pudding. Numbers on their jerseys and the score boxes look so clear. Their VRS Clearview chip is the real deal! I tested Blu-ray 3D and it worked fine too. Blu-ray at 1080p/24 passes through without a hiccup. I also use a DVDO Duo and an Oppo 103D and all work fine together in the same chain... Using the IR extender from Monoprice they recommend (model 8060) also makes life waaaaaaay easier from your seat. Lastly, the EDID setting will really come in handy for those skittish TVs that don't know what type of signal they can accept. Finally, the bigger the screen the better the evidence of just what this little black box can do. We have a 133" curved screen and sitting front row or back row you still get an amazing image! The a Mini has found a home here which is shocking considering I was expecting to return after reading the first couple Reviews. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.pe/products/8603495-dvdo-dvdo-4ksvp-iscan-mini-4k-scaler-video-enhancement-system](https://www.desertcart.pe/products/8603495-dvdo-dvdo-4ksvp-iscan-mini-4k-scaler-video-enhancement-system) --- *Product available on Desertcart Peru* *Store origin: PE* *Last updated: 2026-10-21*
