I used 3M 5200 marine adhesive and 1/4” sealed aluminum rivets. Angle built into the pods worked great for my transom. Haven’t taken the boat out yet, but I’m sure it’s going to perform better with the heavy homemade engine I have. I’d recommend using a flap disk to rough up both surfaces before applying the sealant/adhesive. Review: Good quality. Helped with my heavy motor - Added these to my 1548 Duracraft with a 50 4stroke. The build quality on these is good. The handle is nice. All the welds were good. Can't really say it was worth the cost, but they do seem to help a little bit.
