From there I grounded it to the frame of my car under an existing bolt, making sure it would be safe from fire/sparks. *(this install did require me to take off my dashboard). From there I was able to run the wires through the car under the trim, all the way to the back, with about only 6 inches of wire visible. Whole thing took me about 4 hrs to figure out, but maybe this review will help you be quicker! (I installed this light on the back if a Ram Promaster 1500). I did have to cut the wire to avoid drilling a large hole that the connector could fit through. The first light was defective and they promptly sent a replacement. Great customer service. The light mounts pretty easy and is easy to operate.
