After that, the thermostat should send out a transmission to the switch once every twenty seconds, according to the manual- so there shouldn't be any issue with the outlet shutting off due to its five minute safety shut-off (if it receives no transmission from the thermostat).It was a little difficult to find the instructions for how to change the temperature from Celsius to Fahrenheit, but it was easy enough to do- instructions are on the last page.If there were one thing I would improve, it is that, when it switches from Celsius to Fahrenheit, it only sets the temperature in Fahrenheit increments equivalent to one degree Celsius (normally around 2°F); however, it still works quite well. ### ⭐ Not as it seem *by K***B on Reviewed in the United States on October 18, 2018* This switch cuts off after 5 mins of idle to protect the device doesn’t make sense. Why should it cut off if u insert a setting to cut off at I.e 78 degrees and turn on if it falls below that but if the Device idles for 5 mins the switch just cuts off ... this is bad shouldn’t be selling this to consumers especially if you intend on using this for a toddlers room for their comfort, what if it I’m in a deep sleep and my child freezes because of a faulty programming cut off after 5 mins of idle to protect equipment. Multiple times, I had to turn the thermostat off, then on again for it to work. Kind of defeats the whole purpose, really.
