A: For the ones that have "Clip Chip", I got 3.5 inches across the words "Clip Chip".

**Q: Are the Chip Clips "magnetic" on the backside?**
A: No magnets but the best clip I've found for chip bags.

    No magnet, but very close to the original

I accidentally dropped and broke one of our 20+ year old one and had to find a replacement. These are great, look and feel exactly like the original, except for one small change. These don’t have a magnet on the back anymore! But I solved that by using magnetic tape on the back. It’s not difficult to solve, so no complaints. The three pack is still a good deal, and they hold the chips closed just as well as they always did.

I've got a drawer with lots of clips to hold snack and cereal bags closed, but the best by far is this design. Others are knock offs but this original works best. The tabs your fingers compress to open the clip are long enough to make overcoming the spring’s tension easy. And over time, the jaws don’t warp so the gripped area remains full-width. And the clip doesn’t come apart, either.

I needed chip bag clips and these were reminiscent of the ones I had growing up so I got them mainly for the nostalgia. They work fine to keep my chip bag closed but I took off a star because they are kinda small and pretty cheaply made. They also don’t have a magnet which like my old pals from the 90s.
