The previous item was being used in a private kitchen but the flies just weren't going for it. I realised this item can be bought for the same price as a new set of bulbs but had better features and wider surface area. The item works really well, has an on off switch on the unit itself and you can hear the loud audible bang as the bugs get zapped, makes the dogs twitch everytime. I bought a second one as flies were attracted to the smells from the indoor rabbit in my son's room at the heat of summer. It worked a treat.
