A bit pricey but I’m saving so much by making my own cake I can look past that. I honestly didn’t eat much of it, but no complaints on the taste and I didn’t notice any blue mouths. 😂

**Q: If I mix the sparkle gel with regular icing, will it harden with the icing?**
A: no it stays wet and sticky!

**Q: Can you mix this with icing to give a gold tint to the icing?**
A: Although I didn't try that I think you probably could do it.  It would mute the color a bit but the sparkles may survive.  It is the consistency of the usual decorative writing gels so it should mix as well as those do.  Good Luck.

**Q: Can anyone tell me if the top requires removing an additional cap, or if one only needs to rotate the top so as to avoid choking hazards?**
A: The cap comes off

**Q: I want to decorate a carrot cake with small carrots and some green leaves, should I use icing or gel?**
A: While I am no expert, I recommend using icing. The gel is translucent whereas icing is opaque so it will show better. The icing will also hold the shape better.

This blue sparkle gel really made my son’s cake pop! 🤩. Easy to work with and I would definitely recommend if you want some good depth to your design. The sparkles are subtle but beautiful! The tube is easy to use, just a light squeeze and the gel is coming out. Squeeze harder for thicker gel and a light squeeze for a thin line of gel. It's a vibrant red and the glitter is noticeable. To me, it doesn't have much of a taste, which is nice, it doesn't taste sugary. It's an effective decorative addition, really enhancing the design of the treat! I was happy, and after decorating 16 cupcakes, I've got plenty leftover.
