I find it hard to read technical books from cover to cover. This book's chapters are bite sized pieces with about the right level of detail for me. I read most of the book in a couple of days and then went back to do the labs, which have taken me 4 days so far, but I am not quite done. I find the hands-on labs terrific. They help cement the information learned in the chapters. They are non-trivial and well worth doing. We use SharePoint on-premises with these tools and this book is definitely applicable. Good for Power Users that will be creating the models and the reports for our end-users. Review: Not a how-to book. - This is not a BI beginner's book.
