Review: Reliable Standard Needles - No complaints. The 21g needles are consistent and smooth to puncture. No detectable leakage when used with either luer lock or slip tip syringes. The individual sleeves list the color code for all sizes of available needles, though I wish it marked in some way the specific size you have. 21g being yellow is very obvious, but it could get complicated with some variants. If you do not keep a variety of sizes on hand, then that shouldn't be much of an issue.

In well-sealed sterile packaging rolls which are plastic with paper backing and stored in a hand-sized cardboard box. The seals seem good and they're about as easy to use as any other needle. Not the sharpest I've ever used but they're sharp, they get the job done, and you can't argue with the price. At this gauge it's also pretty difficult to find something that won't be felt--more about your technique than the needle. When you can, size down (up--I hate this system) a gauge to 20 to make the needle hurt less for an adult / large animal, but it will not be as fast to deliver or draw fluid. An 18 like this will be more appropriate for ASAP delivery of fluid / drugs to a person or animal in serious distress, or for being extra careful with a very large animal (cow, horse.) This is an 18. It's going to hurt, and there's very little anyone can do about it apart from lightly scratching the skin right next to the needle with your other hand, in order to override the pain signal as the nerve endings are already reporting something else. Very durable, very thick, very ouch. Be aware these have normal caps rather than the fliplock shields which prevent you from jabbing yourself during the disposal process. It is an effort of coordination to re-cap them and you will fail sometimes. These are best used for self-care by an adult who knows what they're doing and is trying to save a bit of money, by people who are using them to hook from one tube system into another, or by people who want to use them as disposable applicators for crafts (e.g. glue application.) If you're dealing with someone else's blood, you really should use fliplock. These are Luer Lock and need a threaded syringe rather than being push-on. Make sure you're buying the right kind for your syringes. I wouldn't use these for any entity whose pain you can't feel, unless they're unconscious / not really present or you can't afford ones that are a little more expensive, super sharp, and slightly more flexible (the fliplock ones are usually higher quality just because you pay more per tip.) But these are great for everyday self-care where budget matters. If you're looking for craft materials, I'd get the ones with blunt tips--you'd be surprised how easy it is to mishandle these when you're doing delicate work and juggling a lot of parts to glue things together.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Small needle barrel

Have mixed feelings about these needles. While they are incredibly small and extremely sharp and durable, I have issues with the injection. For soFor some reason the small size of the needles makes the disbursement of the injection more painful. It is not the pain from the needle being placed into the skin but rather the small size of the needle medication painful. On the upside, I did find these extremely easy to use and great in this situations where I accidentally bend a needle. With regular insulin needles, I would not be able to use the injection after bending the needle, but with these I am able to swap out the needle head which allows it to stay functional.
