Because this is a semi-anonymous review, I'm not afraid to tell you I have occasionally suffered from "swamp crotch". Yes, that unpleasant down-there dampness which often accompanies a good workout. Sweat + poor breathability = NOPE. To make matters worse, my workouts usually consist of jujitsu. For those of you who may not know, it's a martial art that does groundwork AKA wrestling AKA sometimes I choke people with my legs. It's been a source of some paranoia, and I can only hope it was JUST paranoia. Well anyway, I've found my solution. Unlike other underoos I've had, instead of locking all that sweat in to nurture a frigging swamp, these actually seem to somehow vent the sweat and simultaneously remain fairly dry. No obvious wet spots or anything; it's weird! I've been looking for a reasonably priced solution, and this has fit the bill. I actually own a set of every color and have been wearing them almost every day for the past year--they are THAT comfortable! Every now and then, I have a string come up, but I cut it immediately, and haven't had the problems other reviewers have had of them coming undone, BUT I do use a laundry bag to wash them so they're not getting battered in the wash and dry. I'm a size 6-7, and have worn the Mediums this whole time... Until now...CONS:So, here's my gripe. They've recently changed the style and now have the brand "Balanced Tech" sewn on the INSIDE of the back instead of the outsid --great! Except now, for some reason, the mediums are HUGE and fit me like the original style Large fit me... So Ive had to start purchasing SMALLs for the new style, but MEDIUM if it's the older style. So how do you know if it's the old style (fits as expected) or the new style (fits large, so size down)??? -- YOU CAN'T!Basically, I've had to now buy a small and a medium, and hold one of my older styles up to them and see which one is the same size... Yeah, SUPER convenient, right? But, once I get the size figured out... They're still the same super-comfortable, super-dry thongs that I love... So what I'm saying is, definitely try them!
