Review: Not a 1:1 fit for older housing, significant engineering needed - This did not fit my existing housing. The mounting bracket and spacing were all different. I was able to create a new mounting system using some modified perforated steel bar, long sheet metal screws, washers, and nylon spacers, but it was a lot of work and many foul words were used before I finally got it put in. If you’re considering this for a 25-year-old Broan fan/heater/light assembly, be sure you have an engineering mindset, a Dremel tool, and plenty of time and patience. Gave it four stars because it runs fine and I’m sure it’d be great in a newer/more compatible housing.
