However they became discolored during my first washing, and I followed the instructions on the tag to the letter. There also was a large amount of 'lint' that accumulated during first drying, far more than a normal load of sheets.Update: I was contacted by a very courteous representative of Resorts Resource Group. They supplied me with a replacement set of sheets, which is an indication of both their dedication to customer satisfaction, and excellent PR. Both the replacement set, and the original set were in Slate Gray, so they are the only color I can speak to the quality of. They're incredibly soft, and I use them on my bed now. However the replacement set also became discolored (see attached photos) after the first wash. They have slight dark "splotches" of darker discoloration appeared across the entirety of the top and bottom sheet. The sheets were washed with no fabric softner, (sheet or liquid) and per the specifications of the tag. Bottom line, if you're looking for comfortable sheets, I'd recommend these in a heartbeat. If you're OCD like me, and splotches will bother you, I'd steer clear. ### ⭐⭐ Discolored spots after initial wash *by H***R on Reviewed in the United States on August 13, 2016* I was looking for a sheet set that would look good on my low profile, contemporary bed (my set up is sheets only with a contrasting colored blanket folded and stretched across the foot). These sheets had great reviews and I liked the color, so I tried them out. I have to say that they are extremely soft and feel much more robust than any of my other sheet sets. I followed the exact instructions for washing the sheets when they came in. When they came out of the washer/dryer, there were grossly wrinkled. I tried to look past that and went ahead and made my bed with them. Well, after putting them on my bed, I noticed discoloration from what I am assuming is everywhere the detergent had touched the sheets when I poured it into the washer with them. Still giving them the benefit of the doubt, I used them for a couple of weeks and figured on the next washing it would remove the darker, discolored areas. This time I made sure to pour in my detergent first, then let the washer fill with water before putting the sheets in. I can say that no "new" stains arose, but the old ones are still there. They are still extremely soft and have had no pilling, but unfortunately I cannot use these sheets as I intended. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Nice sheets, but problem with fitted sheet *by L***S on Reviewed in the United States on October 30, 2018* I actually have purchased four sets of these sheets, for myself and as gifts. They are very soft and in general I have been very happy with the quality. Unfortunately one of the fitted sheets ripped within 3 months of purchase. I kept using it, as the rip was at the bottom, but now it is completely unusable. It was for a guest bed, and hardly ever used. It has now been over a year, but the other sheets are all fine. I think I had a defective sheet. I've tried emailing the company, but they have not responded.
