Review: Get What You Pay For - This is just a decent router shelf that will do the job. It does look nice when finished and on the wall. The biggest drawback for me is that if you have any cords or wires in the box with the modem, the door opens. Easy fix: I used a clear thumb tack and pushed it into the bottom board to keep the door from swinging open. Other than that, pretty decent for $10. Oh, one more thing: I would not even think about using the little plastic "hooks". They look useless. I used the steel hooks for my install.

Nice design but too small for my modem/router, so I replaced side panels with longer boards so it would fit.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great for covering doorbell chime, no mounting instructions

Rather than use this for a router mount, I opted to instead use it to cover my ugly doorbell chime as it was the exact size I needed and came with the necessary openings to ensure audibility. This was the perfect alternative use case. I removed one star because the instructions failed to provide any direction for mounting it to the wall, which is critical for most use cases. Unlike most people who purchased this for its intended purpose, I had to hang this vertically to match the shape of my door chime. I drilled the mounting staples to the back and used them as spacers to support the wall screws. I then had to hammer a nail from the frame into the swinging door piece to ensure that it doesn’t swing when mounted. I expected the process would be somewhat tedious given that I was not using the product for its intended purpose, but still feel it could have been a smoother process with better instructions. I’m overall pleased with the end result.
