The clamps allowed a secure and professional looking setup. I used these (silver version) to attach 2" horizontal tubes to the vertical posts on my daughter's bed. The TV was then attached to the 2" tubes using similar clamps that are used to mount lights. For my use, the clamps simplified the project and provided a super strong and nice looking final result. It's also a system that is easy to adjust and it required no drilling or modifying of my daughters bed. I recommend these highly.
