That's totally our fault, and not a problem with the product -- but I still want to caution everyone when regenerating this type of hand warmer. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ How long to boil these to restore... *by J***N on October 6, 2022* Some folk complain that these things don’t work more than once. Happened to me when I boiled one to restore usefulness. The boiled one cooled and hardened, well sort of. It became granulated rather than remain liquid and was not useful. So I boiled the hell out of it next time and it cooled and retained liquid form. Of course, boiling the hell out of these is not a useful recommendation, so next time I used a timer and measured boiling time. Like boiling an egg, 10 minutes at a good boil seemed to produce best results. The product came sealed in a thick, but soft, clear plastic sealed pouch. The liquid inside is green. Out of the six sent, all seemed fine—no leakers. I measured the temperature after activation and the highest it got to was 126 F. Within 10 minutes it began to cool. After twenty minutes it was not very hot.. I assume if it was being used on the body, it might have even cooled quicker.
