The shoes are very sturdily built. We are going on 5 months now and holding up wonderfully. We bought the White/Hot Coral/Nectarine ones. We were hoping the coral would be more red/orange but the color is very coral. We were worried my son would think they were pink and wouldn't wear them. Luckily he thought they were more orange and very cool looking and the very first day my son wore them his friends at school thought they were cool looking too, so he was fine. But beware if you have an anti-pink/coral child.
