However, they were very cheap and spongy, like something you would get at a dollar store. These sponges are very firm, but not too firm to where they are stiff. They hold a lot of water and feel very well built. For the people saying they do not expand; YOU HAVE TO SOAK THEM FIRST! Once you soak them with water, they expand perfectly. Hope this helps!
